Heya folks. I’m Alex (I also accept all variations of ‘Al’). Let’s see… I go to a Christian high school in Ohio…I’m not saying anything important thanks to those awkward stalkers…I’m 16 and from the state of confusion (figure that one out). First of all, there will be no flaming or sweary words, or you will be digitally pimp-slapped. Second, enjoy the blog, this is mainly dedicated to book reviews and friends, anime,upcoming books, movies, life stuff and other sorts. I also like rock/metal/celtic music, so you can bet on some music reviews. I love Inuyasha, it is like my child. Please don’t attack the blog, my favorite books, and especially the anime being posted. Such includes: PoPoLoCrois, Fullmetal Alchemist, SGT. Frog, Fruits Basket (I’m ashamed), Trinity Blood, Blood+, Deathnote, Bleach, Eureka 7, Excel Saga, just about any mecha, and many, many others.  See ya soon…

Sports: Tennis, swimming (a little), mosh pit!

Hobbies: First and foremost, God. Then (in no particular order) writing, reading, music, friends, anime, games, viloin…I don’t play yet, but I want to soooo bad.

Interests: Anime/manga, classic literature. Writing and reading are way up there. God takes the top.

Favorite genres:  action, classic, mystery, fantasy, creepy-ish

Favorite types of music:  Industrial/symphony/metal (Think Nightwish or Apocalyptica), all rock, Celtic, Christian and there is NO way you can get me to enjoy rap. J-pop and J-rock are awesome, but Dir en Grey are a little creepy.

Favorite authors:  Chris Paolini, Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti, Emily Bronte (umlaut on the ‘e’), Lewis Carroll, Frank Beddor, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickins, Edgar A. Poe, Stephanie Meyer, Sam Enthoven, Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, many others too…

Goals: Take life as it comes. I want to get into college, above all things. Relationship with Christ is a big deal too.

Colleges: Sinclair to get associates degree out of the way, Colorado State or Asbury…Though Kentucky has a really good English program. Ironic, huh? :p

Names of future children: Helena, Isaac, Aiden, Dante, Dmitri, Vivian.

Romantic status: Single…I think.

Banes of existence:  Apathy for the suffering. You people are sick.

Most common misconception people have about you:   That I’m weird, or I’m a druggy, or that I’m a genious. Idiots…it’s called doing your homework! People have dismissed me because I’m not someone to just blurt whatever comes into my mind. America the Beautiful, eh?

Favorite shows: Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, D. Gray-Man, Smallville, Tokko, No Ein, House, Tenjho Tenghe. Mostly anime. The only non-anime shows I will watch is Bones and House. And Scrubs.

Pets: dog and cat

Siblings: Step and half, no direct ones. Basically an only child.

Movie/book you’d love to step into: Inuyasha or Fullmetal Alchemist. Eureka 7 for the mechs ^_^

Person from any time period you’d love to punch on the nose (not including Hitler): The author of Winterflight. You are a JERK. Also, whoever started the whole rebellious preppy cheerleadery ‘My parents are the worst ever’ stereotype. Honestly, your parents are the ones paying for your precious Hollister junk, get over it…

What you do when you’re alone at home:  Read, play a videogame (or lack thereof ;_;), watch an anime, talk to friends on phone.

Guilty obsession: Chipotle, a few shojos *runs away*

One word people think of when they hear your name: Reading geek, Nerd (proud of them both)

One word that always makes you prick up your ears: My name.

What you get in trouble for during class: Reading. All the time.

What is your weapon of choice? Summoning cards and a healer staff! Yes…Raine kicks so much butt.

Ideal Christmas present:  just some money…or Books&Company gift cards.

Favorite songs: ’Escapist’, ‘7 Days to the Wolves’, ‘Nemo’, ‘Wishmaster’, and ‘Wish I had an Angel’ by Nightwish. I love Nightwish. Also ‘Path’, ‘I Don’t Care’, ‘I’m Not Jesus’ by Apocalyptica and ‘Koudu’ by Dir en Grey. I have a lot of favorites, but these are current.

Who can you absolutely not stand?  Preps. Emo kids. Jerks in general.
